Spawning corydora

Post by Flute on Thu Jun 07, 2012 7:04 pm

Well, some body has been getting frisky and I think it was the corys. A trio of the Julii (pretty sure they're not Julii, but that's what they were sold as) were going nuts last night, following one really plump cory about. They must have spawned over night, there are no eggs visible, but there are marks all over the tank glass where they were stuck. I had forgotten to plug the heater back in after I did a water change on Sunday, and the temperature had dropped to 23, so I think the cooler conditions must have been what set them off.

I take this as approval of their new tank Very Happy

They seem to have calmed down a lot now. I should probably get some photos up of them, and get a proper ID. I know I have at least two different species that were sold to me as Julii, so it'd be really interesting to know what they really are Smile
